Bondurant Farrar Jr. Sr. High School - Bondurant, Iowa
Members of the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District voted to pass a $23 million bond issue in September 2020 for the new junior high school along with revenue from the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy. The goal was to improve function and increase building capacity. The new 105,000 sq. ft. school includes a commons area, main offices, media center, classrooms, industrial technology space, outdoor classroom space, a competition gymnasium, athletics support spaces, a green room for digital media, teacher support space, science rooms, plus family and consumer science rooms. The new junior high school allows the district to address the need for increased capacity due to enrollment growth, now able to accommodate 600 seventh and eighth grade students.
